Our Growth Project’s 4th ever Open Mic event featured poet and writer Gabriel Mambo! We had over 100 supporters in attendance!
In honor of Black History Month, Gabriel shared several original poems. A Sioux Falls Native all his life, Gabriel pursues his passion of writing poetry to express emotions, convey deep thoughts, and show the world what can happen when a mind thinks out of the box.
The event was held at The Bakery, in downtown Sioux Falls, SD. Co-Founders Wilson Kubwayo and Sul Dibba emceed the event. DJ Quiet Storm the Infamous was our DJ.
