Our Growth Project’s had the opportunity to host an open mic event at SDSU in Brookings, SD! A story promoting the event was featured in the university’s student newspaper, The Collegian!
We featured a few SDSU students throughout the evening, as well as OGP’s very own featured magician Travis Nye and dancer/musician Soleil Bashale!
The event was sponsored by the Dan Pickering Allstate Insurance Agency out of Sioux Falls. Flyboy Donuts provided free donuts!
The small attendance made for an intimate evening, with lots of conversation being made with our audience straight from the stage.
The event was held in the Student Union of South Dakota State University, in Brookings, SD. Soleil Bashale and Jamal Wurtz were our emcees, and Amanda Hellie from Ice Berg365 Ministries served as our DJ.
